Leland Yee's Wikipedia post on gun control

You can't make this stuff up:

"Several groups have noted the irony of Yee's previous support for strict gun control laws, in light of his involvement in weapons trafficking. Gun rights advocacy groups and others have labeled Yee's actions as "hypocrisy".  In the wake of Yee's arrest on corruption and weapons trafficking charges, gun control advocacy groups have expressed concern that the future of some of Yee's proposed gun control bills could be in jeopardy."

Really? Ya think?

Naah...I don't think the heavy stuff is gonna come down for quite a while.

Jerry Seinfeld describes why the US Postal Service is failing

Look for it, at the three minute mark:

Some choice remarks here:

"... a twenty first century information system based on licking, walking, and pennies is struggling to compete."

It takes a village. A huge, stinky, starving gulag of a village so you can worship the dear leader...

Every school kid in America should have to watch this so they can experience the joys of Socialism. The Vice Guide to North Korea. This is where the Democrat Statists want us to go ladies and gents:

Arizona Taxpayer Action Committee and the Obamacare 11 Republicans

We've bitched about this before so I won't belabor the point. Just to remind everyone, here are the Obamacare 11 who (that idiot) Brewer coerced into this nightmare:

SENATE TARGETS
Jeff Dial – LD-18
Bob Worsley – LD-25
Adam Driggs – LD 28
HOUSE TARGETS
Doris Goodale – LD-5
TJ Shope – LD-8
Frank Pratt – LD-8
Ethan Orr – LD-9
Heather Carter – LD-15
Doug Coleman – LD-16
Bob Robson – LD-18
Kate Brophy McGee – LD-28
Make sure Brewer isn't the only one looking for a job soon. By the way, is it just me, or does she wear her hair and makeup like she thinks she's still in high school? You know, back when you thought socialism and big government were cool.

The Arizona Taxpayer Action Committee is gunning for these idiots:

http://arizonataxpayeraction.com/2014/03/16/the-2014-preliminary-primary-list/
Be sure to support their cause, so we don't have to read about the Obamacare medical system burning babies for heat. This is the most disgusting and disturbing thing I've ever heard:
Don't kid yourselves, the left will make this happen if we let them.

They did it to themselves..Venezuelans and Chavez

I'm surprised those Marxists over at NPR had the balls to print this story:

Gee, socialism: still not working. But you know what? They did it to themselves. They elected Chavez four times. The Wikipedia entry on Chavez is hilarious:

"...made significant reductions in poverty with oil revenues. The Bolivarian Missions have entailed the construction of thousands of free medical clinics for the poor, the institution of educational campaigns that have made more than one million adult Venezuelans literate, and the enactment of food and housing subsidies."

Obviously written by an academic idiot. Chavez made the entire country destitute. You'd think this guy was a hero by reading that, wouldn't you? These people can't even get toilet paper anymore. But you know what? They elected him, they deserve everything they got. The people you have to feel sorry for, are the ones who fought that stupidity tooth and nail, and still got hammered.

The good: the idiot journalists that supported him are the ones that fell the farthest.

The bad, Venezuelan boat people, coming to a state near you. Then their kids elect Socialists here, after NPR cheer leads them on.

Where will they go then?

E. J. Montini of the Arizona Repugnant says it's time for Jan Brewer to go

Oh yes, yes he does:

http://www.azcentral.com/insiders/ejmontini/2014/03/12/time-for-jan-to-go-almost/

And I agree. It's time for her to go. And can she please take you with her, E.J? So we can all move forward. But since you are taking the Arizona Republic down with you, I shouldn't complain too much.

Btw E.J. what does the EJ stand for? Eradicate Justice? Educated Jerk? Erroneous Jabberer? Elitist Jalapeno? From the looks of you, maybe Embalmed Jaundice.

Embalmed Jaundice has been with the Repugnant since 1979, so he's ridden that horse all the way to the bottom. Good Job EJ! He's got a two line entry in Wikipedia saying he's been here throughout the rising temperatures. Sounds like EJ wrote his own entry, getting all global warmy on us and sheeit!

Here be some science, for those journalist majors like EJ, who don't do math and all that. A temperature chart for Phoenix from 1979, the year the Repugnant was dumb enough to hire Embalmed Jaundice:

Courtesy weatherspark.com

Here is temps for 2013, where EJ is starting to resemble the main character from Weekend at Bernies:

Notice anything, science gurus? They're almost exactly the same! Back when you were pitching the rainforest, remember? What ever happened to your rainforests? Overpopulaton? All your other crap? The same thing as global warming. Another bullshit scam for people who don't habla! Thanks EJ, for bringing us the news, that isn't, for 35 years.

The Ten Planks of the Communist Manifesto

Just so we have an idea of what the IRS is, what the Federal Reserve is, and what the EPA is:

1. Abolition of private property in land and application of all rents of land to public purpose.
Eminent domain, high property taxes, confiscation of land by the EPA for endangered animals or 'improper use.'

 2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
More and more calls for higher taxes on high income brackets that will eventually be transferred down to the middle class. 53% of the productive population are being punished by paying income taxes and supporting the other 47%.

 3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.
Death tax, IRS used to redistribute family wealth

 4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
IRS used as a political weapon against the Tea Party

 5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly.
Fed's takeover via regulation and 'inspection teams' to control the banking sector, crony capitalism in too big to fail models to keep them in line. Dodd-Frank established Communist-sounding bureaus: "Financial Stability Oversight Council" and "Orderly Liquidation Authority." You can't make this stuff up.

6. Centralization of the means of communication and transportation in the hands of the state.
FCC "Fairness Doctrine," arrest of Fox News reporters, control of road system via Federal fund distribution.

7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state; the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
GM buyout, EPA control of business, big labor control of production

 8. Equal obligation of all to work.  Establishment of Industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
Use of Department of Labor as a weapon by threatening discrimination actions, use of unions as a weapon, make farmers dependent on government through subsidies and EPA intimidation

 9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the population over the country.
Haven't really seen this much, but the busing decisions by the Supreme Court have gutted the cities so consolation prize for that.

10. Free education for all children in government schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc. etc.
Yeah, Department of Education, teacher's unions, and student loan bubble have pretty much destroyed the education system, so we're probably safe from this one.

1913: the year that destroyed the Republic

What happened in 1913 that was so bad. No history texts mention that year, books aren't written about 1913, no major wars were fought.

So let me educate you about 1913:

Democrats were in charge of both chambers. Uh-oh. We all know what happens next.

1) The Federal reserve was created. Those idiots that failed during the depression, and are about to wipe out our currency. Strike one.

2) The 16th amendment was passed, giving Congress the power to tax a citizens income. Control over your bank account, your employer, the IRS, and all the malfeasance that goes with it. Strike two.

3) The 17th amendment. Senators were elected, rather than appointed by the state legislatures. We already have elected representatives in the House. The Senate is a place where the states legislatures had control, a direct link to control of federal abuses. Bringing us closer to a direct democracy, the tyranny of the majority, and things that the framers abhorred. Strike three.

So the seeds of the current epic fail, were caused by another group of morons a century ago. The good news: the Republic will survive. We'll be better off when the Fed loses its monetary teeth, the IRS is collecting worthless currency, and the federal leviathan can't pay its army of warts on a hog's ass that work for it.

But when Aunt Hippie, and Uncle Socialist, who depended on their Medicare and Social Security come knocking on your door for a handout, give them a gentle reminder that they voted for the idiots that caused the collapse and send them packing with an apple or something. And don't forget to remind them, that they already took the Social Security that you paid into the system, so they owe you. They can hang out when they can give you that back.

The Decline of Navy Federal Credit Union

I've been a member of NFCU for twenty years now. When I came onboard in the nineties as a second lieutenant, they had great service, the best rates, and were much more professional than the small military credit unions scattered around bases across the country.

Unfortunately, the officers that ran NFCU figured out that if they grew the membership, they could grow their bonuses without attracting too much attention. Navy Fed is a non-profit, which means you can put money made by the outfit in three places; the credit union, the members accounts, or your own pockets in the form of pay and bonuses. In the case of NFCU the CEO's total compensation was 1.2 million according to Business Week:

http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/private/people.asp?privcapId=4172376

Not bad for a non-profit. After aggressively pursuing this member expansion policy over the last fifteen years, NFCU's service has progressively deteriorated to the point where their reviews and ratings on Yelp have slipped into the 'suck' category:

http://www.yelp.com/biz/navy-federal-credit-union-merrifield

As the Obama administration and the statists have their way, their membership will start declining with the end-strength military numbers, Navy Fed's leadership will start pulling all-types of hi-jinks so their leadership can keep their compensation levels as high as possible. We are also seeing the same type of behavior over at USAA, for the same reasons. USAA's CEO Joe Robles saw the writing on the wall, along with the news that some Federal Regulators are riding into San Antonio this spring and recently announced his retirement.

How will this end? Probably with Geico or another conglomerate buying USAA's insurance business and NFCU and USAA banks bought off by Bank of America to run as a military discount division, or some other crap. The end state is, the once proud outfits of USAA and NFCU, were run into the ground by the greed and stupidity of the generals and the admirals who were Pentagon PowerPoint Warriors.
